** In order to comply with WI state law, Dr. Kitt must have an established VCPR (Veterinary Client-Patient Relationship) with the client. The VCPR must be established via an in-person physical exam, or timely medically appropriate visits to the premises on which the patient is kept. Dr. Kitt cannot prescribe medication or make a diagnosis over the phone without an established VCPR.

Many common issues seen in backyard poultry can be attributed to problems in their environment and can be more easily addressed when the veterinarian can make direct observations on nutrition, coop design, biosecurity, predator proofing, and general management practices.
